Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2. Take the sifted flour and place into a large bowl.
3. Add the sugar, salt, baking powder, and whisk together.
4. Use a cheese grater and shred the frozen butter into the dough. This helps with the flaky layers.
5. Mix the dough with the butter until grains like sand are formed.
6. Add and fold in the blueberries.
7. Make a well in the center of the bowl and gradually add the buttermilk while bringing the flour mixture to the center.
8. Knead everything together until you get a ball of dough.
9. Roll the dough out lightly flouring each time and fold into three sections.
10. Roll the dough out and repeat the folding process.
11. Use a biscuit cutter to cut the biscuits out and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
12. Make sure they are cut large enough to fit your chicken breasts.
13. Baste the biscuits with melted butter and place in the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
14. Remove from the oven and add the remaining melted butter.
15. In a large bowl, add powdered sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and heavy cream.
16. Mix until you get a glaze. Add as much powdered sugar to your liking for thickness.
17. Glaze over the biscuits.
18. Add oil to a heavy bottom hot and let it heat until it reaches 365 degrees.
19. Place the seasonings in a bowl and mix until well combined.
20. Divide the seasoning into two small bowls.
21. Add chicken thighs into one of the bowls and add one of the bowls of seasonings.
22. Add buttermilk and hot sauce to the bowl and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes to an hr.
23. Add flour plus the remaining seasonings to a large bowl.
24. Remove the chicken from the bowl and coat in the seasoned flour.
25. Add the chicken to the oil and fry for about 7-10 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
26. Serve between the biscuits and enjoy.
