- spring roll wrappers
- plantains
- Brown sugar
- water
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 c Brown sugar
- 0.5 c water

Directions

Preparing the Turon
1. Cut plantain into 4 pieces and roll in sugar.
2. Place the plantain horizontally slightly in the middle of the spring roll.
3. Tuck the bottom corner underneath the plantain.
4. Tightly fold the left and right corners inwards.
5. Roll once you reach the top.
6. Use water to seal the turon.
7. Fry on medium high heat until golden brown and let rest on a drying rack.
Preparing the Glaze
1. Melt sugar on a non-stick pan on low heat.
2. Let the sugar completely melt before you start mixing.
3. Then add in water and stir in butter until glaze is thickened.
4. Coat the turon in the glaze and rest on a drying rack.
Tips
1. Make sure your plantains are ripe.
2. Use white sugar on a nonstick pan for the glaze.
