Ingredients

Soup Base
- 2 Tomatoes, large, cut into 6 pieces each
- 1 Onion, whole, sliced
- 0.5 Garlic, head, minced
- 82 oz Chicken stock
- 42 oz water
- 4 lemongrass stalks
- 0.333 c Tom yum paste
- 6 tbsp Fish sauce
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 1.5 tbsp tamarind powder
- 1.5 tbsp chicken powder

- Shrimp
- squid
- napa cabbage

Directions

Preparation of Soup Base
1. Add oil to the pot and saute garlic and onion until fragrant over medium high heat.
2. Add tomatoes and saute for 30 seconds.
3. Add chicken stock and water. Bring to a boil.
4. Once boiling, add lemongrass stalks, tom yum paste and season with fish sauce, sugar, and tamarind powder. Season to taste.
Preparation of Ingredients
1. Prep all of the vegetables, protein, and noodle of choice.
Serving Instructions
1. To serve, add pot of tom yum soup to a portable gas stove and cook your protein and vegetables as you eat.
