Ingredients

- 1 Onion, chopped
- 3 Sweet potatoes, chopped
- 2 tbsp Olive oil, plus more to drizzle
- 4 tbsp Butter, split between the onions and potatoes
- Garlic salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Mike's Hot Honey
- Red pepper flakes, to taste

Directions

Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Add two tablespoons Olive Oil and two tablespoons Butter to a pan on medium high heat.
3. Add in your chopped onions and cook until a nice, golden brown color.
4. Season with Garlic Salt and Pepper to taste.
5. Spread the chopped sweet potato out evenly in a baking pan or dish.
6. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle garlic salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes over the top.
7. Cut the remaining butter into smaller cubes and space evenly over the potatoes.
8. Drizzle Mike's Hot Honey over the top of the potatoes.
9. When the onions are soft and golden, remove from heat and spread them evenly over the top of the potatoes.
10. Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes to an hour, or until the potatoes are soft.
Note
1. You can parboil the potatoes before adding to the baking dish, which will cut down on the baking time at the end.
2. In this case, you will either microwave the potatoes until they are soft, or boil in a pot on the stove until they are soft.
3. Make sure to drain well and dry if you boil them first.
