- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Baking powder
- 0.75 c Brown sugar
- 0.25 c regular sugar
- 1 Large egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 c Flour
- 0.75 c Chocolate chips

Directions

Preparation
1. For this recipe, you want to make these on a silicone baking mat, so place a silicone baking mat on a baking sheet.
Combining Dry Ingredients
1. Combine the flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl and put aside.
Creaming Butter and Sugars
1. In a mixer, cream together the butter and sugars.
2. After they’re nicely creamed together, add in the egg and vanilla extract & continue to cream it all together.
Adding Flour Mixture
1. Add your flour mixture to this and mix until lightly crumbly. Do not over mix!
Adding Chocolate Chips
1. Once lightly crumbly, add in your chocolate chips by hand and lightly mix.
Shaping and Chilling the Dough
1. Shape this dough into 6 large cookie balls (don’t pack them tightly) and place on the silicone baking sheet and let chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
2. Once they’re chilling, preheat the oven to 375.
Baking
1. Bake for 17-20 minutes or until golden brown on the outside.
2. Let sit on the baking mat for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
