Ingredients

- 1 lb sirloin steak
- 0.25 c canola or vegetable oil
- 0.25 c Olive oil, for cooking vegetables
- 1 Red bell pepper
- 1 orange or yellow bell pepper
- 1 Onion, thinly sliced
- 12 oz Mushrooms, sliced
- 8 provolone cheese
- 8 tbsp herbed butter

Steak Marinade
- 0.25 c Vegetable oil
- 0.25 c Red wine vinegar
- 1 t Sugar
- 1 t Dried oregano
- 1 t Chili powder
- 0.5 t Garlic powder
- 0.25 t ground pepper
Herbed Butter
- 8 tbsp Butter
- 0.5 c Parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp Salt

Directions

Marinade and Steak Preparation
1. Mix together marinade and place in a Ziploc bag.
2. Place sirloin steak in the bag and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
3. Remove steak from refrigerator and discard marinade. Let steak stand for 30 minutes before cooking.
4. In a skillet on medium heat, add vegetable oil and cook steak until tender (about 5-6 minutes) on each side.
5. Move steak to a plate or bowl.
Vegetable Preparation
1. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions until tender.
Assembling and Baking Sliders
1. Cut slider buns in half and place bottoms in the casserole dish. Spread the herbed butter on top.
2. Layer the steak, then vegetables, and top with provolone cheese slices.
3. Add the top of the bun back into the casserole dish.
4. Drizzle with butter.
5. Bake in the oven at 350° for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Final Steps
1. Remove from oven and top with parsley.
