Spicy Vodka Carbonara Recipe (with Video)

Sauté Aromatics

Add Tomato Puree
1. Stir in 2 tbsp of tomato puree and fry for an additional 2 minutes.
Introduce Vodka
1. Pour in 1 shot of vodka and cook for 2 minutes, allowing the alcohol to evaporate.
Incorporate Heavy Cream
1. Add 100 ml of heavy cream to the pan and gently boil for 2 minutes, ensuring the sauce thickens.
Combine Pasta and Cheese
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
2. Add the cooked pasta to the pan, along with 50 g of grated Parmesan cheese, 100 ml of pasta cooking water, and 1 tbsp of cold butter.
3. Toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated.
Extra Creaminess
1. For an extra creamy texture, take the pan off the heat.
2. Add 2 egg yolks and additional Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously to create a smooth and creamy sauce.
