Spam Corn Dog Bites Recipe (with Video)

Preparing the Spam
1. Cut each Spam into 18 even pieces.
2. Toss with 1/4 cup of the flour to evenly coat and set aside.
Preparing the Batter
1. Whisk remaining 3/4 cup flour, cornmeal, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
2. Add buttermilk and eggs and stir until combined.
Dipping and Frying
1. Dip the floured Spam pieces into the batter coating evenly and carefully place into a pot of hot oil, a few at a time.
2. Fry until golden brown and crispy.
3. Drain and continue frying the rest in the same way.
Serving
1. Serve with ketchup and mustard on the side for dipping.
