- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 White onion, diced
- 0.5 green pepper
- 0.5 orange pepper
- 1 tbsp Italian seasonings
- 1 tbsp Onion powder
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp Red pepper flakes
- 2 tsp Kosher salt
- 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1.5 jar pasta sauce

Directions

Cooking the pasta
1. Cook your pasta according to box instructions. I like al dente.
Sautéing the vegetables and meat
1. In a sauté pan, add extra virgin olive oil and heat to medium-high heat.
2. Add in your peppers and onions and cook down until translucent, then add in your mixed meat.
3. While your meat is browning, add in your seasonings and spices.
4. Once the meat is brown, drain any excess oil.
Adding the pasta sauce
1. Add in your favorite jarred pasta sauce.
2. Mix together and then cover and let simmer for 20 minutes.
