Ingredients

Gouda and Prosciutto Baguette
- 6 oz Old Amsterdam Classic Gouda
- 1 Artisanal Baguette
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 ripe Pears
- 6 Prosciutto, sliced in half lengthwise
- 0.333 cup Honey
- Fresh thyme leaves, for garnishing

Directions

Preparing the Crostini
1. Place the sliced baguette pieces on a rimmed baking pan.
2. Drizzle all sides generously with the olive oil.
3. Broil for 2-3 minutes on one side, just until golden.
4. Remove the crostini from the oven and flip each piece over to the unbaked side.
5. Add the thinly sliced gouda to cover the surface of each crostini.
6. Turn oven ON to 375.
7. Bake for 5-6 minutes, just until beginning to melt.
Preparing the Toppings
1. In the meantime, wrap each thinly sliced pear in a half slice of prosciutto.
2. Layer the baked gouda crostini with a prosciutto-wrapped pear, or a simple pear slice, and drizzle with honey.
3. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves to enjoy warm!
