- 6 wooden skewers
- 12 oz firm tofu
- 3 tsp Curry powder
- 0.5 tsp Salt, or to taste
- 0.25 tsp chili
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Maple syrup
Peanut Sauce
- 0.333 c natural peanut butter
- 0.333 c fresh orange juice
- 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp Tamari
- 1 inch Ginger
Garnish
- 0.5 c Cilantro, chopped
- 0.25 c peanuts

Directions

Preparing the Tofu Skewers
1. Start by soaking the wooden skewers in water.
2. Then, remove the moisture from the tofu with a tofu press or by pressing down with a paper kitchen towel.
3. Chop the tofu into six long sticks, and then generously brush them with the marinade.
4. Let the tofu marinate for as long as possible. This is also can be done a day ahead.
5. Once the tofu has marinated, thread the tofu on the skewers lengthwise.
6. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and grill the tofu sticks on all sides until they are nicely browned.
Preparing the Peanut Sauce
1. For the peanut sauce, blend all the ingredients in a small blender.
2. If the consistency is too thick, add some more orange juice to get the desired consistency.
3. Garnish the dish with chopped cilantro and peanuts.
