Ingredients

Main Ingredients
- 1.5 lb ground beef or chicken
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 Onion, medium, chopped
- 1 tbsp Garlic
- 1 tbsp Ginger
- 1 c peas
- 0.5 c Cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 pack puff pastry sheets
Spices
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp fenugreek leaves
Additional Ingredient
- 1 Egg

Directions

Preparation
1. Preheat your oven to 425F.
2. In a pot add oil. Once the oil is hot, add onions and sauté for 5 min.
3. Then add the ground meat. Once the meat is a little brown, add ginger/garlic paste.
4. Stir for 2-3 min before adding in the spices.
5. Stir for 5 min and then add the cilantro.
6. 2 min later add peas and let the mixture cook on low flame for 10-15 min.
7. Once the meat mixture is cooked, remove it in a container so it can completely cool off.
Making the Pastry
1. Dust some flour on a dry surface and place your pastry sheet.
2. Roll it to a thinner layer and cut 12 squares.
3. Now gently place a spoon full of filling to the middle of the dough.
4. Make the sides wet with a brush soaked in water and flip the dough in half.
5. Now pinch it with your fingers to completely close the pocket filling.
6. You can use a fork to add a decorative border to the sides.
7. Just a light layer of egg wash and sprinkling of sesame seeds and then it goes in the oven for 20- 25 min in the middle rack.
8. Once it’s out the oven, let it cool for 10 min and you got yourself one delightful treat ready in enjoy!
9. To keep the desi vibe going, dip it in ketchup for the best childhood memories.
