Crushing Oreos
1. Crush Oreos into smallish pieces (not too small, think nickel-sized pieces).
Browning Butter and Melting Marshmallows
1. Brown the butter in a skillet (4-5 minutes). Once it’s browned, add marshmallows and mix until they’re fully melted.
Combining Ingredients
1. Combine cereal, Oreos, and melted butter/marshmallow mixture in a large bowl.
Preparing and Serving Krispie Treats
1. Place the mixed Krispie treats in a 9x13 baking dish that’s lightly buttered and flatten it out with a spatula.
2. Let sit on counter for 1 hour before cutting and serving.
