- 0.5 c Unsalted butter, melted
- 1 c Chocolate chips
- 1 c Granulated sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp Cocoa powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 0.25 c Flour, all purpose or gluten free
- sea salt, pinch
- 16 Oreos
- 0.333 c Oreos

Directions

Preparation
1. First, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Line an 8 inch square pan with parchment paper.
Creating the Chocolate Mixture
1. In a bowl, add melted butter and chocolate chips.
2. Stir until completely smooth and creamy.
3. If needed, microwave for 10 to 15 seconds.
4. Set aside.
Creating the Brownie Batter
1. In a mixing bowl, add white sugar and eggs.
2. Whisk vigorously for 2 to 3 minutes, until light and frothy.
3. Pour melted chocolate mixture into the mixing bowl.
4. Stir to combine.
5. Then, add in cocoa powder, vanilla extract, flour and sea salt.
6. Stir to combine.
Assembling and Baking the Brownies
1. Pour half of this batter into the parchment lined brownie pan.
2. Place 16 Oreos on top of the brownie batter.
3. Next, pour the remaining brownie batter on top of Oreos.
4. Sprinkle crushed Oreos on top.
5. Bake for 24 to 28 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out with only moist crumbs.
Final Steps
1. Finally, remove from oven.
2. Allow brownies to completely cool before slicing into. They are gooey!
