Ingredients

Tofu
- 30 oz Firm Tofu
- 4 tbsp Coconut aminos
- 0.5 tsp Chinese five spice
Sauce
- 0.75 c Orange juice
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 3 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- 0.25 c Coconut aminos
- 2 tsp Orange zest
- 0.25 c date syrup
- 3 clove Garlic
- 2 tsp fresh grated ginger
- 0.25 tsp Chili flakes
- 2 tsp arrowroot starch
- Salt, to taste

Directions

Prepare the Tofu
1. Press tofu for 1 hour to remove excess water.
2. Combine tofu with tamari and Chinese five-spice.
3. Toss and spread on a cookie sheet.
4. Bake at 425 for 30 minutes.
5. Flip halfway through cooking.
Prepare the Sauce
1. While tofu is baking, combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Combine arrowroot or tapioca powder with a small amount of cold water.
3. Add to the hot sauce and whisk until the sauce thickens.
Final Steps
1. Pour sauce over tofu and mix.
2. Enjoy!
