Ingredients

- 240 g Milk
- 4 tbsp chai
- 0.25 tsp cardamom powder
- 300 g sweetened condensed milk, roughly ¾th of a 14 oz can
- 400 g evaporated milk, 1 14 oz can
- 40 ladyfingers
- 360 g Heavy cream, for decoration
- freeze dried strawberries, optional, for decoration
- Pistachios, optional, for decoration

Directions

Instructions to make the chai
1. Add the milk, chai and cardamom to a saucepan and simmer on medium low heat for 3-5 minutes.
Prepare three milk mixture
1. Whisk together the evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk and strained chai (make sure to squeeze out all the milk) in a bowl.
2. Taste and adjust the flavor per your liking.
Prepare the dish
1. In a clean dish (I used a 7x11" dish), stack ladyfingers tightly to create one layer.
2. Fill any gaps by trimming ladyfingers.
3. Using a ¼ cup measure, start drenching the ladyfingers.
4. Make sure you get every one of them.
5. You will use half of the chai mixture here.
6. Don't worry if it looks like a lot, the ladyfingers will soak up the mixture.
7. Wait 10-20 minutes for the ladyfingers to soak up most of the chai mixture.
8. Repeat with the second layer of ladyfingers.
9. Place the dish in the fridge for ~2 hours.
Prepare the topping
1. In the meanwhile, whip up heavy cream to stiff peaks.
2. Spread half of the heavy cream on top of the ladyfingers, using an offset spatula to even it out.
3. Pipe the other half in dollops using a French star tip.
4. Decorate with crushed freeze dried strawberries and chopped pistachios.
Final step
1. Serve and enjoy!
