Ingredients

- 2 lbs Flank steak
- 0.5 c Cornstarch
- 3 Carrots, shredded
- 2 tbsp Ginger, minced
- 3 clove Garlic, minced
- 2 Broccoli, chopped
- 1 c Soy sauce
- 0.75 c Brown sugar
- 0.75 c water
- Sesame seeds, garnish
- Chives, cut 1/4" garnish
- 2 tbsp EVOO

Directions

1. Slice flank steak into thin slices, add to a ziploc bag and coat with cornstarch, and set aside.
2. In a bowl add carrots, ginger and garlic.
3. Heat your stock pot to medium high heat and add in EVOO.
4. Add carrots, ginger and garlic into the pot and sauté until tender.
5. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, and water stirring to mix thoroughly so that all the sugar dissolves.
6. Add flank steak to the pot bringing to a light simmer and cover.
7. Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes or until meat is tender and sauce is thick.
8. For the last 10 minutes add in broccoli.
9. Remove from heat and place on top of prepared rice.
10. Garnish with sesame seeds and chives for garnish.
