Directions

1. In a large pan on the stovetop, heat 1-2 tbs of Olive Oil. Add in your chopped Onion.
2. Once the onion is translucent, add in the Minced Garlic. Cook until you can smell the garlic, and turn off the heat.
3. While the onion is cooking, add the Ground Beef and Ground Sausage to a mixing bowl. Mix to combine.
4. Add in the Eggs, Milk, Grated Parmesan, Bread Crumbs, Basil and all of your seasonings and your cooked Onions/Garlic. Mix until evenly combined with the meat.
5. If your meat mixture is too liquidy, add more bread crumbs and parmesan cheese until right texture. You don’t want it too wet, or too dry—it should be moist enough to shape into balls, but dry enough so it doesn’t stick to your fingers.
6. Scoop your Meat mixture with a cookie scoop and roll the meat between your hands until you get nice round Meatballs. Repeat until all the meat is shaped.
7. In the same pan you cooked the onions, coat the bottom of your pan with the neutral oil and bring to a medium heat.
8. Add in your Meatballs, but be careful to not over crowd your pan. Roll the Meatballs in the hot oil until uniformly brown on all sides. Do this in batches, adding the finished Meatballs to the pot of sauce.
9. Add your marinara sauce to a large pot and bring to a simmer.
10. Add in your browned Meatballs, and fully submerged in the sauce. Cover, and let simmer on the stove, stirring occasionally, for 45 min-1 hr.
11. Note: Add in extra sauce, just to make sure the meatballs are fully covered.
