Maple-Fish Sauce Glaze
- 0.5 c maple syrup
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sambal oelek
- 2 cloves Garlic, grated
- 2 tsp white pepper
Brussels Sprouts
- 1 lb brussels sprouts

Directions

Maple-Fish Sauce Glaze
1. Add all ingredients into a bowl, mix to combine.
Brussels Sprouts
1. For each Brussels sprout, cut off the tip of the root and cut in half.
2. Heat a wide pan over high heat with some oil.
3. Once the oil begins to smoke, add the Brussels sprouts–optionally get them all cut side down to begin.
4. After a few minutes, once the sprouts have a deep golden brown color, toss and continue cooking until you have color all around and the sprouts are tender but still have some bite to them.
5. Once cooked properly, add the sauce and let reduce into a glaze that properly sticks to the sprouts.
