- 2 slices Sourdough bread, toasted, or your favorite bread
- 2 tbsp Cream cheese, plant-based to make it vegan
- 0.5 bunch Chives, finely chopped
- 4 slices vegan Mozzarella-style cheese
- 1 heirloom tomato
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 1 tbsp pickled red onion
- 0.25 tsp Salt
- 0.25 tsp Pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive oil

Directions

Preparing the Bread
1. You'll need 2 slices of sourdough bread, which can be toasted in a toaster or a pan with some olive oil.
2. Spread 2 tablespoons of plant-based cream cheese on one slice of bread.
Adding the Toppings
1. Finely chop the chives and lay them on a flat plate.
2. Dip the bread into the chives so that as many as possible stick to it.
3. Add the vegan mozzarella-style cheese and sliced heirloom tomato to the bread.
4. Top with balsamic glaze, pickled red onions, season with salt and pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
Final Steps
1. Place the second slice of bread on top and enjoy immediately.
