- 1 c ghee
- 1 c Sugar
- 2 tbsp Pistachios
- 0.25 c Almonds
- 0.25 c Cashews
- 4 Cardamom
- 4 oz khoa, mawa

Directions

Preparation of Nuts and Carrots
1. Heat a pan and add ghee.
2. Once it’s hot, add skinless blanched almonds and cashews.
3. Fry them for a couple of minutes.
4. Remove them once lightly golden. Set it aside.
5. In the same pan add carrots to the remaining ghee.
6. Fry for a couple of minutes.
Adding Sugar and Spices
1. Add sugar and freshly ground cardamom powder.
2. Mix well.
3. Sugar will release its water.
4. Cover the pan and let it cook on a medium low heat for 30 minutes, mixing occasionally.
Final Steps
1. Keep stirring until the water completely evaporates and carrots start smelling caramelized.
2. Taste it to make sure the raw taste is completely gone.
3. Add roasted nuts and Khoa before turning off the heat.
4. Once ready to serve, add pistachio, extra khoa and edible silver leaf as garnish.
5. Enjoy!
