Ingredients

- 6 whiting fish
- 4 slice white bread
- 2 tsp Hot sauce
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 2 tsp yellow mustard
- 2 cup All purpose flour
- 1 cup fish fry seasoning
- 2 egg beaten
- Oil, for frying
For the bread, if making from scratch
- 3 cup Bread flour
- 0.75 cup Water, at 98 degrees
- 0.5 cup Milk
- 1 Tbs Active dry yeast
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 Tbs Granulated sugar
- 3 Tbs Unsalted butter, softened

Directions

For the fish
1. Season your fish with all the seasonings mentioned.
2. Add mustard to the fish and mix to create a binder.
3. Take three bowls and in each bowl, add flour in one, the beaten egg in the second, and fish fry seasoning in the third.
4. Add fish to the flour.
5. Add fish to the beaten egg.
6. Add fish to the fish fry seasoning.
7. Add oil to a large frying pan.
8. Once the oil reaches 350 degrees, add fish and fry 5-6 minutes per side or until perfectly golden brown.
9. Add fish between two slices of bread with hot sauce.
10. Serve and enjoy!
For the bread
1. In a heat proof bowl or glass measuring cup, add water and milk.
2. Warm the mixture to 98 degrees.
3. Add yeast and mix thoroughly.
4. Cover and let it activate for eight minutes.
5. In a stand mixer, add flour. Sugar, and salt. Mix until well combined.
6. Add butter and yeast mixture.
7. Mix until a soft ball of dough forms.
8. Cover in an oiled bowl in a warm environment for an hour.
9. Roll the bread and then shape into a loaf.
10. Add it to a greased bread pan and cover with a warm towel for an hour to proof.
11. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
12. Place into the oven for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
