Eggnog Rice Cereal Treats Recipe (with Video)

For the Rice Cereal Treats
1. Melt the butter, stirring often, over low heat until browned.
2. Remove 4 tablespoons and set aside.
3. Add the marshmallows to the remaining butter in the pot and stir until melted through.
4. Stir in spices and salt and add cereal.
5. Stir until evenly combined.
6. Quickly pour out into a greased 9x13 baking pan and press down firmly into an even layer.
For the Frosting
1. Beat together powdered sugar, reserved 4 tablespoons browned butter, eggnog, and vanilla until smooth and somewhat thick.
2. If it’s too thick, you can thin out slightly by adding a splash more of eggnog.
3. Pour over the rice cereal treats and spread out evenly.
4. Top with sprinkles and allow to set.
5. Slice, serve and enjoy.
