Ingredients

For the Brownies
- 12 Tbs Unsalted butter
- 1 jar Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate
- 0.5 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup Light brown sugar, packed
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 0.5 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup All purpose flour
For the Dulce de Leche Cheesecake Layer
- 16 oz Cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
- 0.25 cup Sour cream
- 2 Large eggs, lightly beaten
- 0.5 tsp Vanilla extract
- 0.25 cup dulce de leche

Directions

Brownie Layer
1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Line a 9×9” square baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
3. In a large, microwave-safe bowl, combine butter and chocolate and heat for 30 seconds, stirring in between, until chocolate and butter are dissolved completely.
4. Add cocoa powder, sugar, and stir until well combined.
5. Add in eggs, vanilla extract, and table salt.
6. Whisk vigorously.
7. Mix in the flour over the brownie batter and stir until completely combined.
8. Take about 4 tbsp. of brownie batter and set aside. Pour remaining batter into the baking pan and transfer to the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the top layer starts to set.
Dulce de Leche Cheesecake Layer
1. Combine cream cheese and granulated sugar in a large bowl and mix until smooth.
2. Recommended to use a stand mixer or an electric mixer for the best consistency.
3. Stir in sour cream and then add eggs, one at a time, stirring until just combined after each addition.
4. Do not overmix!
5. Once brownies have baked, carefully remove from oven leaving the oven on and carefully and evenly pour cheesecake layer over the surface.
6. Microwave the 4 tbsp. of brownie batter reserved and spread across the cheesecake layer in a swirling formation.
7. Return to the oven and bake for 25-28 minutes or until cheesecake is set.
8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature.
9. Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or for best results overnight.
10. Serve and enjoy!
