Popcorn Seasoning
- 2 Tbsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp Kosher salt
- 0.5 tsp Ginger
- 0.25 tsp Cardamom
- 0.125 tsp Nutmeg, freshly ground
- 0.125 tsp Black pepper, freshly ground
- 0.125 tsp clove
- 0.125 tsp Allspice
- 3 Tbsp Coconut oil
- 0.333 cup popcorn kernels

Directions

Prepare the Spice Mixture
1. Combine sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper, clove, and allspice in a small bowl.
Heat the Coconut Oil
1. Heat coconut oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Pop the Kernels
1. Add 2 or 3 kernels and once the kernels pop, add all the remaining kernels.
2. Cover the pot with a lid and let sit for 30 seconds off the heat.
3. Shake the pot if necessary to make sure all of the kernels come in contact with the hot oil.
4. Once you hear consistent popping, continuously shake the pot until all of the kernels have popped, about 3 minutes.
Add the Spice Mixture
1. Turn off the heat.
2. Immediately add the spice mixture and toss to combine.
Serve
1. Serve.
