Ingredients

Main Ingredients
- 8 oz chow mein noodles
- 1 c bean sprouts
- 0.5 large onion
- 4 Scallions, green parts only
- 3 tbsp Oil, divided
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp Light soy sauce
- 1 tsp Dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp water
- 0.5 tsp Sugar

Directions

Boiling the noodles
1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the chow mein noodles.
2. Let it cook for 1 minute and drain.
3. Pat dry with a paper towel.
Preparing the onion
1. Add 1 tbsp oil to a heated wok and add the sliced onion.
2. Cook for 30 seconds until translucent.
3. Transfer out and set aside.
Cooking the noodles
1. Heat the wok over high heat and add the remaining oil.
2. Add the noodles, and use a pair of chopsticks to spread them out.
3. Add the sauce around the wok and stir to mix well.
Adding the vegetables
1. Add bean sprouts, scallions, and cooked onion.
2. Stir and cook until the scallions are wilted.
Final steps
1. Drizzle sesame oil and mix one last time.
2. Serve while hot.
