Directions

Brown butter
1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add butter.
2. Melt down your butter until it is bubbling.
3. After about 5 minutes of your butter bubbling, you will notice brown specks at the bottom and smell vanilla notes. Once you can smell the vanilla and the butter has turned golden brown, turn off your heat.
4. Put your browned butter into a dish on the side and let it cool. Stir occasionally to ensure that it does not solidify again.
Cream butter and sugar
1. In a medium sized bowl, add cooled brown butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar.
2. Combine using a whisk until silky smooth.
3. Add in egg and egg yolks, as well as vanilla.
4. Continue whisking until everything is combined.
Dry ingredients
1. Sift together flour, baking soda, cornstarch into a bowl and add your sea salt.
Cookies
1. Once your butter and sugar have creamed, add dry ingredients slowly to the mixture.
2. Once your wet and dry ingredients are mixed, add your chocolate chips.
3. Fold your chocolate chips into your batter until fully combined.
4. Place your cookie dough into the refrigerator for 1 hour. For best results.
Baking
1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
2. Remove cookie dough from the refrigerator and let it set out for 10 to 15 minutes until you are able to manipulate it.
3. In your desired baking dish, add cookie dough until it fills ½ inch up the pan.
4. Press full Oreos into the cookie dough as well as crushed Oreos sprinkled on top.
5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are golden and brown at your desired liking.
6. Remove from the oven and let cool before cutting.
7. Enjoy!
