- 4 oz Cream cheese
- 0.5 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 0.25 c fruit preserve
- fresh sliced fruit
- Powdered sugar, to garnish
- 1 Egg, + 1 tbsp of water (for egg wash)

Directions

Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 400.
2. Combine the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a stand mixer or bowl, and beat until smooth.
3. On a floured work surface, roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 6 rectangles, score the edges of each puff pastry rectangle about 1/4 of an inch in.
4. In the scored section of the rectangle, add cream cheese, fruit preserve, and fruit slices.
5. Combine the egg and 1 tablespoon of water to make an egg wash and coat the perimeter of the puff pastry rectangles.
6. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Top with some powdered sugar if you like and serve.
