Boursin Cheese
- 5.2 oz Boursin Cheese
Onion
- 1 White onion, thinly sliced
Wine
- 1 tbsp Dry white wine
Seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Bacon
- 6 pieces of crispy bacon

Directions

Preparing the Onions and Bacon
1. Remove your Boursin Cheese from the refrigerator and let it get to room temperature while you cook the onions and bacon.
2. In a large ovenproof skillet (cast-iron works well), melt the butter and olive oil over medium-low heat.
3. Add the thinly sliced onions.
4. Cook the onions, stirring occasionally, for about 25-30 minutes or until they are soft, deeply caramelized, and have turned a rich golden brown color.
5. If the onions start to stick to the pan, you can deglaze it with a tablespoon or two of white wine.
6. Season with salt and pepper then remove from heat.
7. Add onions to a bowl along with the bacon and mix well.
Preparing the Boursin Cheese
1. Remove the Boursin Cheese from packaging and place on a plate.
2. Top with as much of the caramelized onions and bacon as you’d like and enjoy with crackers.
