Baking the cake
1. Bake the cake according to package instructions, let cool completely.
2. Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke holes throughout the entire cake, making as many as you can.
3. Pour the caramel sauce into the holes and throughout the entire cake. It will absorb into the cake.
Preparing the whipped cream icing
1. Combine the heavy cream, vanilla extract and powdered sugar into a mixing bowl.
2. Using an electric mixer, whip on high until stiff peaks form in the cream.
Finalizing the cake
1. Spread the whipped cream over the cake until it is in an even layer. Be careful of lifting up your spatula, as crumbs might get into the whipped cream.
2. Sprinkle with as much Heath bar pieces as you want….the more, the better!
3. Refrigerate until ready to serve!
