- 3 tsp berbere spice
Homemade Berbere Spice Blend
- 1 tbsp Smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 0.5 tbsp Ginger
- 0.5 tbsp Garlic
- 0.5 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 0.25 tsp Nutmeg
- 0.5 tsp fenugreek
- 0.5 tbsp Cumin
- 0.25 tsp Cardamom
- 0.25 tsp Coriander
- 0.75 tsp Turmeric
- 0.25 tsp Cayenne

Directions

Prepare the marinade
1. Begin by finely chopping the red onion.
2. Add it to a salad bowl with the lemon juice and salt.
