Ingredients

For the tenders
- 4 Chicken breasts, large, and cut into tenders
- 2 cup All purpose flour
- 0.33333333333333331 cup Potato starch, or cornstarch
- 2 cup Buttermilk
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 2 tsp Black pepper
- 3 Tbs Garlic powder
- 2 Tbs Onion powder
- 2 Tbs Smoked paprika
- 2 Tbs Cajun seasoning
- Sylvia’s Chicken Fry Seasoning
- Gochujang hot sauce
- 0.5 cup pickle juice (brine)
- Oil
For the Bang Bang Sauce
- Kewpie mayo
- Gochujang Sauce
- Sriracha
- Smoked paprika
- Honey
- Red Chili Paste

Directions

1. Divide the seasoning into two small bowls.
2. In a large bowl, submerge the tenders with one bowl of seasoning, buttermilk, pickle juice, and a tbsp of gochujang sauce.
3. Let the tenders marinate for at least 30 minutes or for best results, overnight.
4. To a large bowl, add flour, starch, chicken fry, and remaining seasoning.
5. Mix until well incorporated.
6. Heat a deep fryer or a shallow bottom pot with oil until it reaches 350 degrees.
7. Remove the tenders from the buttermilk placing them on a wire rack but leaving the remaining marinade in the bowl.
8. Start working with your tenders first coating in flour, then back in the buttermilk, and then back in the flour.
9. Fry for 6-8 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees and its golden brown and crispy.
10. Mix all of the ingredients together for the bang bang sauce.
11. Brush the sauce on the tenders to keep it crispy.
12. Serve and enjoy!
