Ingredients

Salmon Filet
- 1 salmon filet, whole, approx 3lb or steelhead trout
- 0.5 c Olive oil
- 4 clove Garlic, minced
- 0.5 tsp Dried thyme
- 0.5 tsp Oregano
- 0.5 tsp Onion powder
- 0.5 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp Salt, can add a pinch more afterwards as well
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 8 lemon slices
- 4 sprigs of rosemary

Directions

Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Place sliced lemons on a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the salmon flesh side up on the parchment paper, on top of the sliced lemons.
3. Mix the seasonings with the olive oil in a small bowl and pour over salmon. Using a brush on this step is optional as well, making sure the salmon is generously covered.
4. Squeeze the lemon juice over the fish, then lay the rosemary sprigs on top for some aromatics.
Baking
1. Bake at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes uncovered until fish is cooked through to your liking or at 145 degrees internal.
Final Step
1. Remove the rosemary and serve.
