- 8 oz Asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces and discard the woody ends
- 2 cup white or baby bella mushrooms
Sauce Ingredients
- 3 clove Garlic, sliced or minced
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1.5 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 tsp Corn starch
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp Oil

Directions

1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, salt, corn starch, and 2 tablespoons of water.
2. Blanch the asparagus in boiling water for about 2 minutes, then soak it in cold water.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat, add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds to release the fragrance.
4. Add sliced mushrooms to the pan and sauté for 1 minute.
5. Add blanched asparagus.
6. Mix the prepared sauce again until the corn starch is completely dissolved, then pour it over the asparagus.
7. Cook for another minute on medium-low heat until the sauce starts to thicken and everything is evenly coated in the sauce.
8. Remove from heat and plate the dish.
9. Sprinkle some more fresh ground black pepper on top and enjoy!
