- 15 oz Black beans
- 1.5 c Water
- 0.5 tsp Cumin
- 0.5 tsp Oregano
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 tbsp sofrito
- adobo

Directions

1. In a pot, add sofrito. Sauté for a few minutes until fragrant.
2. Add rice, black beans with the liquid from the can, water, cumin, oregano, bay leaf, and adobo. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 30 minutes.
3. Remove from heat. Keep the lid on for another 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and enjoy!
