- 1 lb chicken drumettes
- 10 cloves Garlic, peeled and smashed
- 3 slices Ginger
- fresh Thai basil leaves
- 0.333 c Soy sauce
- 0.333 c rice wine
- 0.333 c Asian sesame oil
- 3 tbsp Brown sugar
- red chili

Directions

For the sauce
1. Mix the soy sauce, rice wine, sesame oil, brown sugar, and red chili (optional).
Cooking the chicken
1. Set a pan to medium high heat and add in oil, garlic and ginger and cook for a couple of minutes.
2. Add in the chicken and cook until all sides are browned.
3. Once the chicken is browned, add in the sauce mixture and let it simmer for around 20 minutes, the sauce should become thick.
Final steps
1. Once the sauce has become thick, lower the heat and add in the basil leaves.
2. Cook for a couple of minutes and we’re all done!
3. Eat with a side of white rice.
